The Daily Telegraph Newspaper – Special Report on Green ICT
The Daily Telegraph, in association with Lyonsdown Media Group, will be publishing a special Green ICT report on the 24th October 2010. The purpose of the report is to show that cost savings and being ‘green’ do go hand in hand. Green IT Expo is delighted to have secured a media partnership for this supplement and there are opportunities for Green IT Expo sponsors to get involved with this publication.
What does the report cover?
This report, planned for distribution to the full circulation in The Daily Telegraph, is set against the background of a fragile economic recovery where cost cutting remains a priority for UK business leaders. Written as a practical guide for the board level reader, this publication will show that 'green' business practices do impact positively on the bottom line.
Green IT Expo will be involved in the report and the report’s authors are currently reaching out for possible contributors and sponsors.
Here is a list of some of the areas it will cover:
- Data centres
- The front office
- Being more efficient with what you’ve got
- End of life
- Cloud computing & virtualisation
- Purchasing policies
- Power management
- Reducing travel using ICT
The report is published on the 24th October 2010. If you would like to be involved in the report as a sponsor, information provider or apply for a place on the steering group – or even if you just want to suggest a good article – then Lyonsdown would love to hear from you.
