The Revolution team is formed of a dynamic and fresh-minded group of thoroughbred event professionals, combining expertise from Reed Exhibitions, Miller-Freeman / United News, Emap Exhibitions, Caribiner Conferences, Step Exhibitions, Davies Virgo Exhibition Design, Cahners Exhibitions, Macmillan Healthcare Conferences, Agra Europe / IBC and SMi Conferences.
As part of our team, we have a specialist Public Sector unit, experienced in working with both local and central Government and familiar with the needs and regulatory framework governing the public sector.
Revolution Events was founded in 1999 by Nick Litton and Rich Tribe as a result of years of collaboration and partnership. Nick and Rich previously worked together as directors of the Interactive Group (now VNU Exhibitions) best known for six years of the Softworld Series of events. They helped to build the company from a niche exhibition organiser to a key element of the buying process for the applications software market – across the UK, Europe and the US.
Nick is one of the two founders of Revolution Events, responsible for operations, sales and client liaison. He was previously Operations Director of Interactive Information Services (now VNU Exhibitions), where he was responsible for all aspects of the logistics, venue negotiation, on-site build-up and overseas launches. Prior to Interactive, Nick was UK Exhibitions Manager for Bull Information Systems and has also worked for Davies Virgo (an exhibition contractor) & Cahners Exhibitions (now Reed).
Richard Tribe – Joint Managing Director
Richard is one of the two founders of Revolution Events, responsible for finance, marketing and new product development. He was previously Deputy Managing Director of Interactive Information Services (now VNU Exhibitions), where he had overall responsibility for the company’s operations in the UK & Europe. Prior to Interactive, Richard was Marketing Manager for the IT Division at Reed Exhibitions and has also worked for Macmillan Magazines, Taylor Nelson Market Research & Reed Business Information.
